Zellar’s cost saving, net zero mission across Leicestershire

Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership Limited joined Zellar to kickstart sustainability action amongst its local business community by sponsoring 100 local businesses to join their sustainability platform, Zellar for free.

The program is currently at full capacity, and Leicestershire businesses have successfully achieved energy and cost savings while actively working towards becoming sustainable.

Since the programme launched…

  • £164,465 cost saved, resulting in lower bills from reduced energy consumption

  • 3.8% annual CO₂ savings, taking demonstrable leaps towards net zero

  • 3% energy reduction, through implementing behavioural changes in Zella
