The Loughborough and Leicester Science and Innovation Enterprise Zone is the newest EZ in the Midlands. Two of the sites are in Loughborough. They provide top-class locations for activity in the advanced engineering, bioscience and pharmaceutical sectors in particular. The land and existing premises provide the capacity for several new occupiers and will provide a jobs creation boost of around 21,000 for the local economy. 

Charnwood Campus: This site is designated as a Life Sciences Opportunity Zone and offers state of the art flexible laboratory space with specialist high quality research and development accommodation and serviced office facilities supporting bio-medical and pharmaceutical industries. Custom built property solutions are also available within the 23 ha landscaped campus site. 

Loughborough University Science and Enterprise Park: One of the largest science parks in the UK. Situated just one mile from the M1, this 106-hectare site is an outstanding location for knowledge-based businesses specialising in advanced engineering and manufacturing, high value research and development, energy and low carbon.

The first-round closes on Sunday 4th August 2024, and a second round (for any remaining spots) closes on Sunday, 18th August. The programme starts on Wednesday, 11th September 2024.
